There are plenty of social areas for guests to gather and discuss the reef, fish and whale sharks they saw on their dives as well as secluded and serene spaces for enjoying the tropical foliage, coconut trees, orchids, endemic iguanas, humming birds and other flowering plants typical to the Caribbean.
In addition to boat diving, the resort's sea facing sandy beach allows easy entry day and night shore diving. The reef starts basically at the shore line and you have access to three of Utila's top dive sites, Pretty Bush, Labyrinth and Black Coral Wall.
There are two owner's apartments. One is on the top floor over the building housing the restaurant, bar and large, fully equipped kitchen. It contains two bedrooms, full bath, living space and oceanfront deck. The second owner's apartment has a loft bedroom, two full baths, living area and massive oceanfront deck. The apartments can be converted into a family suite or approximately 6-7 more guest rooms, quarters for the staff or retained for owners.
There are buildings located in back of the property where the laundry and water cistern and the generator are housed and there is plenty of room to expand and build on the property.
There is plenty of space and potential to expand on this property and build to accommodate more guests or cater to larger groups and researchers.
