The larger main house floor has two bedrooms, the master has a king-sized bed and the guest bedroom has a queen-sized bed. Both bedrooms have inbuilt wardrobes, high efficiency mini split AC units, large fans and access to the rear deck with peaceful garden views. The main floor contains a utility room with stack-able washer and dryer and room for storage. Expansive windows and sliding glass doors front the dining room, living room and kitchen providing an unobstructed view to the ocean across the roomy front deck. The area is air-conditioned and has three large fans for excellent air circulation. The open kitchen is perfect for cooking a sumptuous meal and entertaining guests. It has stainless steel appliances, beautiful dark Honduran wood cabinets with ample storage space and marble counter-tops, including a large kitchen island. There is also a small larder and all the floor is polished wood. There is over 1000 square feet of covered deck space.
The downstairs apartment has its own private porch facing the beach and Caribbean Sea and is bright and full of light. There is a sitting area, dining nook and kitchen in the main area and a separate bedroom and bathroom. Outside on the porch there is a shower and rinse tank to wash your snorkeling or diving gear. The apartment has a separate entrance and is perfect for putting up family or guests or could be used as a rental.
South Shore properties are boat access only, with limited foot traffic on the beach area. They provide resident owners and guests a private and relaxed environment to enjoy an unobstructed ocean view, and easy sandy entry to the warm Caribbean water for shore diving, snorkeling or just relaxing and floating in the clear, blue ocean water. Mature trees on the property provide privacy, shade, and the perfect place to hang your hammock.
The private dock situated in front of the property offers a wonderful place for social gatherings and barbecues and access to the water and the reef. The dock has a covered boat slip with a roof system and electric boat lift.
Permanent boat slips are also available for purchase at two separate marinas in the protected canal system which is located an easy fifteen-minute walk from the back of the property on an access road. Access to town is possible in any weather conditions through the canal system which offers a sheltered and secure permanent location for your boat.
